What is available in the service, which features remain disabled and the limits of this first version.
Is the product available?
Yes, at backlog.syntaxlab.com.br. The first hosted version is free, with isolated web, API and PostgreSQL services on Syntax Lab's infrastructure. The service is under active development and has no availability SLA.
What is available and what are the limits?
The hosted version includes:
- account registration, password sign-in and workspace/project onboarding;
- weekly task planning, REST API, MCP and public documentation;
- a board with accessible drag and drop, search, owner and project filters, status counts, task aging charts, expandable cards and full task details with claims and handoffs;
- workspace settings, service accounts/tokens and LGPD privacy rights (export/deletion);
- an optional WebMCP adapter for the board.
Not yet available or enabled in production:
- Google credentials and a transactional email adapter;
- automatic password recovery by email and 24-hour human monitoring;
- analytics, billing and attachment uploads.
Which decisions remain open?
Google sign-in and transactional email require future configuration. The application and database are hosted by Hostinger in São Paulo, with Cloudflare protection. The VPS has automatic weekly backups; database copies are made at release and during maintenance, on the VPS and in Google Drive. There is no automatic daily database backup. Support and privacy requests go to [email protected]. Keep exports of important data; the roadmap is not a promise of features or delivery dates.
How is authorship handled?
Thales Gomes, username thalesholleben, is the project's public author. Automation tools participate in development but receive no authorship credit or co-ownership.
